Discretion is at the same time what silences and what singles out the subject, creating the fiction of beings that can be individual and not inherently entangled. In what seems to be a solo performance, Catalina Insignares will stop being discrete. A territorialized, colonized dancing body is marked by symbolic, psychologic and structural violences that do not consider it to be possible: Am I even able to see myself and let myself be seen by others? How to be visible? How to allow for a space where we can just be in mutual presence?

Inspired by feminist practices of political support Catalina will face the task of doing this work in the only way anyone can do something difficult: together with others, in a chain of trust that builds up this “solo”. Her body becomes a sounding resonating material, where the different invisible entities in the space bounce and traverse to make its surfaces hearable and visible.
