In June 2022 katharinajej is in residency at workspacebrussels. Being a stranger in the city, she invites the locals, completely unknown to her, to walk with her hand in hand through the city. The performance counteracts common conventions of intimacy, plays with closeness and distance and enables familiarity between strangers.

On workdays, every hour between 3 and 6 p.m., a walk will start from workspacebrussels. Registration at katharinajej@yahoo.de is requested. The last opportunity to experience hand in hand is on June 24, 2022.
