Musical development: theremin, field recordings, voice
During her residency at workspacebrussels, Ine Claes will be focussing on field recordings, the theremin and vocal work. She will experiment and create new compositions with these different elements and will hold a vocal research on acoustic evolving loopsystems with vocalists/performers Adrián Sánchez Nuñez and Justine Maxelon.
This research is part of a larger project that she holds in ’20-’21, based on musical development. During this year she is also collaborating as a vocalist/composer with the Brazilian avant-garde composer and multi-instrumentalist Otacílio Melgaço, with who she will exchange materials and creative ideas throughout the whole season, with the aim to create an album together.
