With this research, artistic duo Marieke&Sophia are developing a method to open up their imagination to other players/makers. In addition, they have found that a classical production logic does not create the ideal conditions for their artistic practice. They therefore want to develop a different kind of rehearsal process, in which experimentation and research have a central place.

They couple this with a content research in which they want to break open ‘outdated’ repertoire through performance art. Instead of making repertoire topical, they want to make it real. In doing so, they want to tap into the political potential of that material and make it their own in the current social context. To this end, they invite three players/makers: Rodrigo Batista, Anna Franziska Jäger and Willem de Wolf.
