Marieke & Sophia
Bio
Marieke Schraepen is a performer and theatre maker. She studied at KASK (drama) and KULeuven (philosophy). Marieke appeared as a performer in Ne Mosquito Pas (Simon Van Schuylenbergh), Een Lola (Yahya Terryn), Giants (Werktoneel) and as a substitute in Fun Loving Humans (Simon D'Huyvetter). In 2024, she did final direction in Maria Zandvliet's De Sont or Mjoezik.
Sophia Bauer is a performer and theatre maker. In 2022, she graduated from KASK Drama. She recently played the role of Bongi Perez in the performance Up Your Ass by Lieselot Siddiki and Nona Demey Gallagher. She previously starred in Tibaldus' Operette (2021) and Geert Belpaeme's De Dieren (2020).
Together, they form the artistic duo Marieke&Sophia. They created, among others, Guilty of Love (2022) and Motherbaby (2024).
