STRIKE

STRIKE departs from the echo of a fight.

Three performers work from the after-image of a street. A single phone carries a low-resolution video from Exarcheia, Athens, December 2008, filmed in the minutes following a shot, while bodies are still gathering, moving and reacting. A street, held in one hand, the size of a hand.

The footage stays with the minutes after the shot, as people gather, move and react and the street begins to absorb what has happened.

Following its premiere at LIVE WORKS / Centrale Fies in July 2026, Eleni Roberts Kazouri and Vladimir Babinchuk continue the development of STRIKE at workspacebrussels, returning to its choreographic and spatial materials and opening the work towards a next phase.
