The Bench (by accident)

The door is open. The curtains sway against your skin. They tell you, you are alive to feel this. You are too alive to feel like this, it is not only coffee & the next fire to extinguish. It is not only in the quiet corner where I see you hiding. Don’t fall through the gap, it is not yet time.

It is time for bread. There’s no need to get the ball rolling. Stay right there. The door is open. You can leave but you don’t have to.

In The Bench (by accident), ashleyho+domeniknaue traverse interiors of lostness, loneliness, and yearning. In a world of FAST FAST FAST and BIGGER BIGGER, they find themselves disoriented and adrift. They want to feel closer. They’re going places, but where to?

Floating in indeterminate parts of an ocean, two voices call out, listening for response. They dance a long poem, between moments of meeting and not meeting.
