Untitled (briefly here bright)
Untitled (briefly here bright) lingers in states of exhaustion, tenderness, and suspended time shaped by living through this moment of prolonged violence and destruction.
Dance here is a letter — that remembers tenderly, patiently, introspectively — unfolding through small gestures, sustained attention, and listening.
A choreography that insists on staying close to the nearly imperceptible: a body leaning, a gaze held, a shift of weight, a distant, trembling voice.
Presence is stretched. Time thickens. Without resolution or climax, Untitled (briefly here bright) inhabits the present as a fragile condition. Tenderness becomes a way of attending to collapse, intimacy a form of witnessing.
Rather than spectacle, what accumulates in the space is a density— of memory, grief, and the labour of carrying on.
What remains after loss is a fragile return to life, to practice.
This choreographic work attends to the interplay of bodies, sound, and architecture, navigating the space between witnessing, memory, and the fragile edge of political imagination.
