In 2022, Anyuta became Belgian. The medium of the ritual, a celebration, stuck with Anyuta after the wedding party organized with their spouse Kim Snauwaert and presented at Theater aan Zee. In light of their new nationality, Anyuta wants to propose a new project: Belgianation Celebration.

In contrast to a wedding celebration, there is no fixed format for a ritual to become Belgian. That seems like a missed opportunity; it is precisely by consciously reflecting on important matters that they can gain meaning. In times of societal challenges, such as the war in Ukraine, the refugee crisis, the climate crisis, the COVID-19 pandemic, a sincere reflection on national identity seems like an absolute necessity.
