HOLDERS
How are memories retained? And what does it mean when they start to fade? In HOLDERS, choreographer Francesca Chiodi Latini uses movement and textiles as metaphors for the elusive processes of memory. Together with four older performers and two musicians, she creates a visual and moving exchange across generations, in which archetypes such as parent/child, teacher/student and spectator/performer are slowly erased.
Francesca Chiodi Latini is a performer and choreographer. In 2017 she obtained a bachelor's degree in dance from the Antwerp Conservatory and from 2019 to 2022 she was an artist in residence at wpZimmer, where she created JARDIN POILU. In 2025 she will premiere the new performance HOLDERS. As a performer, Francesca has worked with Lisbeth Gruwez, Virgilio Sieni, Marcelo Evelin and Corinne Lanselle. She is also active as a teacher of Iyengar Yoga.
