Try-out: Monopoly's drifted away (a radio programme)

Antoine Dupuy Larbre concludes his residency with an informal sharing

Antoine Dupuy Larbre - Monopoly's drifted away 16:9

For about two years now, Antoine Dupuy-Larbre has been wandering through monopolies of legitimate violence, exploring their consequences on resisting bodies and space. He has been developing a practice at the intersection of political theory and embodied stage-making. In order to refine the scope of his research beyond a personal interest in the workings of violence, he has reformulated his framework several times, which has led him to question his goals and his position towards these topics from different perspectives. After a long, confronting, and episodic process, he remains preoccupied with one central question: how can an artistic reflection on the processes of resistance humbly contribute to strengthening the spaces of struggle?

During his residency at workspacebrussels in October 2025, Dupuy-Larbre has retraced his trajectory in the form of an alternative radio programme. The showing on 23 October will mark the first time he presents archival documents alongside traces of his research — welcome!
