Samuel is a member of the collective Hanafubuki, which creates artistic work for diverse audiences through collaborations. In recent years, Hanafubuki grew into an organisation that creates performances for adults and children, in theatres and on location in Belgium and abroad.
In their individual artistic journey, Samuel made wijtwee//nosotrosdos with Hernan Mancebo Martinez for the company Nat Gras. STORMOPKOMST supported them with a development trajectory within which Samuel presented two iterations of House for Tears at the Festival at De Warande. Grot-nest-tempel-huis premiered in February 2024. Samuel created this performance on demand and in collaboration with dance company tout petit. Meanwhile, they are working on Plum Road Tea Dream, an autobiographical video game performance exploring the potential of virtual space as a sanctuary.
