Idle Hours

Picar is a shared studio between artists from different disciplines in Schaarbeek. A common need and desire for working space, and the potential for cross-contamination of our various artistic practices, together form the base of this collective studio. This multipurpose space is built based on trial and error, created together by a changing group. A space to work on craft, to experiment and to share.

At the moment Picar is inhabited by Stef Assandri, Cathrin Jarema, Iris Donders, Lara Ferrari tummma, Leonie, Ferre Vuye, Carly Rae Heathcote and Jana De Kockere.

They will gather for a week at the Kaaistudios in April 2025, and present a night of performances, music, games, dessert and more during the yearly Open Studios.
