There is an image but no vanishing point. There is an image but no center of attention. Instead, a small vacuum which equates to the vanes of the radiometer. An artefact in constant movement, as are our memories: fleeting, decelerating, gone.
Partial vacuum consists of seven found photographs presented alongside seven Crookes radiometers or light mills. Glass, acrylic resin and mica stone are the anchors and primary materials of the installation. Together, image and object build a dedicated milieu where the spectator can wander and interrogate their shared features.
