Durch den Monsun is Zoé Hagen’s long-term meta-performative project, introducing their alter ego KOMBITCHA—a (hyper)pop star who hasn’t written a hit (yet). Blending trembling concert and intimate storytelling, Zoé shares a raw tale of survival, transformation, and hope.
In this third chapter, Zoé merges fully with Kombitcha, tracing their bumpy path to fame—a ride marked by chronic pain, mental health struggles, and a collapsing world. Success may seem out of reach, but along the way, new meanings emerge.
Shifting between therapy and art, reality and fiction, Zoé’s performative concert resonates with a generation navigating instability, fragility, and the search for identity.
