Attacking, defending, wiping off sweat, and reloading. An immortal superhero charges on endlessly, seemingly effortlessly building a super-body and super-stories. But gradually, small cracks begin to form in her grand gestures. Can this hero change the world? Or is she too caught in a system with no way out?
In this solo, Mooni Van Tichel works with a stop-motion movement quality, meticulously following the beat. She explores questions around violence, power, glory, pain, and vulnerability—navigating between superhuman invincibility and human fragility.
The solo is a reinterpretation of Mooni Van Tichel's group piece STILL / ALIVE, which premiered in June 2024 at BUDA.
