40 Falls (Dansand!)

40 Falls - an excerpt from the performance Deep Nyx - consists of a list of different falls, a kind of alphabet. It was one of the first movement materials created for a new creation around falls.

The dance material of 40 Falls began to take on a life of its own and has already been performed on grass, snow and concrete. The beach is now the next location where the body will be swung, thrown and laid down, becoming one with the ground again and again.

During the biennial open-air dance festival Dansand! in Ostend, workspacebrussels moves to the seaside for a day. We kindly invite you to discover projects in development by our residents Mooni Van Tichel, Kaori Ishiguro and Anton Lambert, and Danae Theodoridou.
