Birds Cries
Birds Cries is a dance piece that is dedicated to improvisation, rhythm patterns and musical ecstasy that is found in dance. It is about exploring the sisterly relationship between dance and music while breaking away from stereotypical associations. The performance is a constant exploration of melodies, and small musical intervals identified as maqam.
