FLORENTINA HOLZINGER born in 1986 Vienna, Austria.
Studied architecture in Vienna, Austria. She trained dance and performance in Vienna and worked with the Theatercompany Kopergieterey in Ghent/ Belgium before she moved to Amsterdam to study choreography at the School for New Dance Development(SNDO) in the Amsterdamse Hogeschool voor de Kunsten. She received education in composition, dance and choreography (Deborah Hay, Robert Steijn, La Ribot, Benoit Lachambre, etc) and received the Danceweb Europe Scholarship 2008 and 2010 at Impulstanz Vienna. Amongst others she worked as a performer for Deborah Hay, Rob List and lately the American artist Ann Liv Young. Her work has been produced by the Kc Nona, Mechelen/Belgium and she received residencies at Impulstanz Vienna and Workspace Brussels. She presents her work in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Austria. Her work has been selected various times to be performed at international performance festivals such as Lucky Trimmer in Berlin, No New Artists Festival in Mechelen, Festival aan Zee in Oostende/NL, Batard in Brussels/B and the ITS Festival in Amsterdam/NL.
